Permian Land Company, a subsidiary of Devonian Enterprises, Inc. has been providing brokerage services in the oil and gas industry since 1990. The owner, Fred Jones, brings more than 30 years of expertise in the energy business beginning his career as a field landman in Oklahoma. Since 2005, Mr. Jones has operated as broker to more than 50 independent landmen, working for XTO Energy, Inc. in the Barnett Shale. Prior to 2005, Permian performed the same services for various energy companies in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, Montana, and Arkansas.

The core group of Permian Landmen average between 20-30 years of experience in the energy business. Our expertise of services provided to XTO Energy, Inc. include lease acquisition, title research, runsheet preparation, mineral ownership determination, title curative, designation of units and division of interest.

Most recently, our emphasis has been working with various home owner associations (HOA) in Southern Tarrant County. Our concerted efforts with these groups provide a smooth process for the individual home owners to negotiate a fair and equitable lease for their property. We also work with individual home owners on a daily basis and provide the due diligence necessary to determine their mineral estate open to lease.
